Austin, TX—Tonight, the Ƭapp School District’s Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Michelle Krejci as the new executive director of innovation and development, effective Sept. 18.
Since 2008, Krejci has served as the executive director for the Ann Richards Foundation, helping to raise $2 million to sustain the school’s unique programming through new fundraising programs. During her tenure, Krejci managed an average, annual budget of $600,000 and worked closely with the governing board to create by-laws and policies to guide the work of the foundation.
As executive director of innovation and development for Ƭapp, Krejci will work to expand collaborative partnerships to increase investment in successful and innovative programs. She also will strengthen the district’s resource development processes to provide a clear and consistent set of support services for district staff members and external partners to develop, participate in, and implement innovative initiatives.
